Le Son des mômes
ROANNE CONSERVATORY / EDITIONS MÔMELUDIES
"Based on the observation of a lack of repertoire that is both well adapted and demanding towards very young audiences, the Roanne conservatory is joining forces with Éditions Mômeludies to create a project entitled Le Son des Mômes. It provides for the involvement of different audiences (early childhood, nursery and primary schools, conservatory students, families, school workers, teachers and composers)." The creative work consisted of making five transcriptions of traditional nursery rhymes from around the world collected from Roanne families. These nursery rhymes were subsequently learned and performed in concert by nursery and primary school pupils. During this project, several school workshops were carried out in order to integrate students into the creative process.
The nursery rhymes were created on March 28 at the Cri du Roa festival (Roanne) as well as at the AGEEM congress in July 2023. The collection will be published by Editions Mômeludies from July 2023.

La Maîtrise enchante les bébés

- Have high school students from the Maîtrise de la Loire compose nursery rhymes and lullabies for babies in the nursery placed within the framework of a legal decision.
- Create “tailor-made” nursery rhymes, adapted to the needs and daily lives of these babies, according to specifications produced by childhood professionals (music therapist, psychomotor therapist, childcare workers, etc.)
- From the students' compositions, creation of arrangements for La Maîtrise de la Loire and Canticum Novum ensemble with a view to producing the record.
The disc entitled Le Voyage d'Ottavia was distributed to each child like a “sound blanket” in order to facilitate transition times (nursery – reintegration into families or foster families).
